I mean it's perfect if you want to lock up those of a certain political persuasion.
Certain demographics will be exempt because it would be racist to disarm them, naturally.
But all of that aside, banning guns would just turn the USA into Mexico. Mexico banned guns too. A year later the first cartels came into existence.
Look it up. Same exact thing would happen here.
