Not to mention women have been reprogramed over the last 20 years to be something completely different.
Modern progressivism is moving people away from their natural inclinations and their instincts. People become depressed and anxious.
An easy life isn't the best life.

It will only get worse as the older millennial women who passed on a family and focused on building PowerPoints and Spreadsheets get older and realize they messed up.

Voting is very depressing to women
Won’t someone end the suffrage?

Here is part of it- Women are chaos. Men are order. As American culture has become increasingly feminized, chaos has reigned. Women have lost the script because they crave the order masculine culture provides, but they have been busy with their project to feminize everything. They are in a state of cognitive dissonance about what their efforts have given them. So they seek solace in another feminized belief- that pharmaceuticals can cure them and release them from their chaotic nature and their rejection of a healthy masculine-premised society . Nope. Only when women ( and men ) embrace their true masculine and feminine natures, will women remaster the script and widespread mental health return.

xanax and valium fell out of favor so doctors are handing out SSRIs
from what i can tell from google that chart is about SSRI use and not benzos.

SSRIs are a common non-hormonal treatment in menopause, specifically for hot flashes and flushing.
And given the risks with hormonal treatment (like increases in potential breast cancer) I can see why women would rather take an SSRI.
There is also a definitely hormonal/mood component to menopause. 45 is right about that age of onset so that statistically makes sense.

I'm buying it.

We live in a world that's values do not line up with actual life. Day in day out is brutal on the psyche, especially when you hit the level in your career and personal life of your absolute best. It sounds stupid to say it, but it was a shock to me around 28/29 that no, I probably won't run a billion dollar company as a CEO.

It's a tough life when your husband works his arse off, you drop your kids off and all you can do the rest of the day is hit up Starbucks, go to an Orange Theory class and then clean up/cook at home. LIFE IS SO DIFFICULT.

This is easily explained by the notion that women are just miserable creatures.

Welp, losing a baby did it for me. Hard to get out of that darkness. And yes, I tried a year of exercise, therapy and getting outside everyday first.
