He didn’t bow down. He shut down like the rest of the world, then after stopped inviting Fauci to the WH when he realized he was a fraud.
It was an election year and Fauci had an 80%+ approval rating.
You people don’t remember the media harassing Trump because he was too dismissive of mask mandates and Covid?

It obviously didn’t work, he still lost the presidency. Who cares that it was an election year, his actions failed us and he lost the election because of it.

So he was too weak to stand up and do what was right, and instead “followed what the rest of the world was doing”? Interesting.
