Older hand-me-down vehicles are perfect for new drivers. My youngest daughter is getting her mom's 11 yr old Accord this summer.
Yeah it's a little old but it only has 87k miles on it and I know the maintenance has been solid. I couldn't buy anything that I trust that much for sub 10k
