Seriously...putting them in prison is a solution but it costs a helluva lot more than them making a living wage at Mickey D's.
I'm ok with that.

Not enough.

Here's the plan.
Eliminate ALL corporate taxes. Businesses do not pay taxes, they pass the cost on to consumers. Consumers pay taxes. ALL consumers, wealthy and poor alike. This accomplishes a lot of good things. Chief among them is removing the ability for politicians to pick and choose winners through tax strategies and crony capitalism. I suspect most people here would LOVE this plan so far....
Make it damn near impossible to game the social welfare system. Outside of genuine physical disability which prevent some work make almost ALL social welfare income based. Hell, introduce cash rewards for those who rat out the cheat. Serious cash. They'd police one another far more better than anyone else could if there was some cash in it for them. I can't imagine any but the most loathsome liberal being opposed to this idea...
Establish a living wage based on geographic location and individual circumstances. We have this information already in the CPI and W-4s. Require an employee to pay a corresponding hourly rate, on a sliding scale based on logical transitioning between jobs to prevent a low wage workers having to work 8 jobs 5 hours week to make their nut, and if the employer does not do this tax them, with some fine and administrative costs, and hand the money directly to the employee. They are already making their nut, its just a matter of where the money comes from. No one with a basic undestanding of their own finances can argue the logic in this idea....
There it is. All three radical ideas that would fix the problem of low wages, crime and crony capitalism. Whats not to like???

The problem is it would require management to manage in a way that wasn't based on reliance on the taxpayer....and we can't have that.
I agree. We should stop welfare.

If you will actually read what I have written you will see that I am crying about high taxes, crony capitalism and crime.
Seriously, I ain't a genius but it don't take a genius to know something ain't working. We keep doing the same shite and the only answer is to double down or revert back to a day that never actually existed while keeping all the nice shite we have today like indoor plumbing and airports???

Your don't cradle a lazy, unmotivated, unskilled worker with a bad attitude with a living wage job.
You don't reward bad behavior - you punish bad behavior.

bullshite. You're obfuscating and making no point.
Incapable people require government action on their behalf

Stop with the liberal catch phrase. There is no such thing as a living wage. The government should keep their nose out of telling private business what to pay. Let the value of the job decide on what you earn. If your job doesn't earn what you want then better yourself or get a 2nd job. You deserve in life exactly what you put into it.

So who foots the bill for the punishment? Seriously, I take your point and understand the underlying frustration, but we ain't going to just shoot 'em lizabeth....we ain't going to standby while they starve and we damn sure ain't going to standby while they steal us blind....as long as they exist, and they do and will, someone has to foot the bill. Better them than me an you, no?

If you're lazy, bad attitude doing drugs you should pay for it by being homeless. The government shouldn't step in to force anyone to help you when it's your fault.

The government has been sticking its noses into wages for as long as there have been wages in the United States. I agree getting them out of the wage business is a good idea.
What one deserves and what one does to earn that has nothing at all to do with the fact that low wage and no wage people exist in our nation and short of eliminating them, which we ain't gonna do if for no other reason someone has to pay for that also, those people are going to make their nut in some way. Better for those who make the attempt to do so through labor to make their nut out of their employers pocket than mine and yours.

You are one stupid motherfricker.
If they don't want to better themselves then they can get roommates similar to themselves and live like sardines. Let four of them split the cost of a two bedroom apartment and they can ride bicycles to McDonalds.
Nobody deserves to be able to support themselves fully without effort or sacrifice.

Are you so naive to the business world that you think a business is not going to raise it's prices to pay for the increase then hard working citizens end up paying for it due to higher prices. Sink or swim...it should be all on the individual.

Which is exactly why your dollar has lost 97% of it's value and poor people can't afford anything.
You want to create an unsustainable system where everything is unaffordable to the poor
Your solutions lead to automation, offshore jobs and unemployment.
You do not understand economic tradeoffs.
