doesn't change the fact it was always portrayed by a woman until robin williams. I know how concerned this board is with gender or race swapping.
So entertainers have always been deviants? Is that your point? I dont think anyone will argue that point with you on here. But Barrie wrote him as a boy. Its producers that CHOSE to swap him out
In the 1953 animated film, Peter was voiced by Bobby Driscoll
Peter Pan and the Pirates 1990 series - voiced by Jason Marsden
Hook 1991 film - Robin Williams
Peter Pan 2 Return to Neverland 2002 - voiced by Blayne Weaver
Neverland 2003 film - Rick Sparks
Peter Pan 2003 film - Jeremy Sumpter
Neverland 2011 film - Charlie Rowe
The New Adventures of Peter Pan TV series 2012 - Matt Hill
Once Upon a Time 2013 ABC - Robbie Kay
The New Adventures of Peter and Wendy 2014 webseries - Kyle Walters
Pan 2015 film - Levi Miller
National Theatre Live: Peter Pan 2017 - Paul Hilton
Peter Pan and Wendy 2023 film - Alexander Molony
So the 4 times he was potrayed by a woman is the outlier
