due to his bone disease. John 5 joins Motley for touring.

I completely missed this.

Surprised he lasted as long as he did. He's been suffering for decades.

John 5 can play Motley Crue songs with one arm behind his back while laying in bed asleep. He is an unreal guitar player.

Mick Mars has a few years on the rest of the band—he is no spring chicken, and has lived really hard.

Current ages:

Tommy Lee…60
Vince Neil…61
Nikki Sixx…64
Mick Mars…71…(72 in about 3 months)

Too Fast For Love is a raw, kick-arse heavy rock album in regular rotation in my audio rig!

MANY decades. Has had it since he was 17.

Got to see them for the first time this past August and his tone and playing were pretty fricking nasty. Glad I was there!

Mick has lived up to his original ad as a "loud, rude, aggressive guitar player available." I've seen Motley three times, and his playing has always been the best part of their shows.

It is extremely unlikely any of these guys would have been a household name without Mars. Now, he obviously needed them, too, to make whatever the resulting "gumbo" the 4 of them constituted.

But he was the real reason to listen. Mick could have played with anybody.

Mick held that shitshow together for a long time, on stage at least.

For a laugh check out tribute band Crueligans, complete with dancing sloots. The singer could replace Vince and it would be a major upgrade!

Based in the great state of Texas, lots of videos on YouTube, and they are as good or better than the 3 Crue shows I've seen in the past 15 years.

Crueligans

Crueligans Primal Scream

Dude hitting notes Vince hasn't since 1989.
