It isn't often Louisiana produces a 5-star QB, and yet over the past two years we've produced two.
Times have changed because LSU has two talented QBs even without them, and with more talent coming with Collins and Hurley.
Regardless of not having Manning or Howard, LSU is in a great situation. It's a crazy statement to make, but I believe it.
Note: I'd prefer to have Manning and/or Howard as opposed to not having them, but the cupboard isn't bare.

Howard is weak

LSU could’ve offered manning 500M dollars and he wasn’t coming here. No manning will ever play at lsu

Howard lost his chest somewhere in between Nuss’s twos appearances. Realized he didn’t have a shot at second string next year. With Collin’s and Hurley coming in soon, the room was crowded. Hard to stay in a crowded room with no chest.

Hurley has mor upside than Howard. I’m not saying that because I’m butt hurt or anything like that. I’m truly excited for Hurley.

Appears we dodged bullets with both. Howard doesn't have confidence he can beat Nuss(a fellow quitter) and Manning is the biggest paper 5* the industry has ever seen. If he were here the expectations of his name/absurd ranking would drive half the fanbase to hang themselves. We've got enough issues without that drama. Let Texas deal with it. They seem to like unreal expectations over reality around there.

Ohio State has lost Burrow and Ewers to the portal. Potentially two Heisman/ top picks.

shite happens. Win and no one cares.

Manning ain’t that good dude, not worth losing sleep over. Holstein and Collins are both better.

Won't miss either of them.

Our QB room is probably better than ever...

Howard was once a 5* but he dropped a star at some point.

Why is everyone a former five star? Not that many five stars are given out each year yet when referring to how talented kids were out of school the number of five stars seems to triple.

In 2 years you could have Alabama, Ole Miss and Texas starting top QBs from Louisiana.
