Probably doesn't change much for 2023 season - CBK said that #5 is the starter, so Nuss is a back up and the Rickey Collins and Colin Hurley are in the wings/getting redshirted/coming on in 24. We're still jailbreak scrambling and throwing in to a 15 yrd single read route box this year. #4 coming back is promising, but #5 will likely take some of his carries, along with some receptions for the wideouts.

14 could have gone to Auburn and tried to outdo his dad's completion and TD stats for that school.

Good luck and Hotty Totty for him.

Culotta kept saying this morning that Jamie didn’t want Walker to go to LSU because of what happened to him

What happened to him? What? That he was a shitty QB who we never should have taken to begin with? frick that dude. He can go throw some more pic 6s.

Maybe he’s not as good as we thought he was. I can say that about almost every single QB commit for lsu in recent years.

You can say that about most QB commits everywhere. There just aren’t that many great QBs per year.

If Howard is as good as people think he will push Dart, and he knows he will have that opportunity. Otherwise he wouldn’t go there.

I think the fact that Walker Howard himself doesn't think he could beat out Nuss means he's not as good as people thought he was.

Lane never became the Ole Miss starting QB

Lane started for OM against us in '04 in TS. Game Alley went off.

That was the game that cemented Lane's hero status in Walker's world.

Ole Miss has zero receivers that would start at most other SEC schools

You are high. Their top WR had started at Miss St prior.

They have two guys that will be taken in the 2023 draft lol.

There’s a lot of petulant emotional children on this board who don’t like facts.

So he goes and sits, or he plays too early when he is not ready, which is what supposedly the family didn't want from the get go

Incorrect. He's ok with sitting if he's the backup, which means he's taking meaningful reps during practices. By staying here is is either running the practice squad (and therefore not our own plays) or worse if the incoming freshman run that squad.

By transferring to a place where he is likely in second place, he gets to be engaged at practice and is a sprained ankle away from being the starter, neither of which he would have had at LSU.

But I don't expect this fanbase to think much deeper than "him transfer, him bad."

False. Do you ever talk about something you know about or just assume? Maybe it had everything to do with Sonny. They definitely wanted him at TCU and Auburn. Kiffin said all the right things for him. Also, I think everyone knows LSU had little to zero chance to land Arch Manning. If Arch wanted to be at LSU he would have committed. It’s not like UT doesn’t have any QB’s he will have to compete against.
Walker is aware of the sh*t he will have to take after his decision. His entire family are all LSU!

Screw that.

He does well ole miss does well.

So, what if he were your kid? Would you tell him to stay put knowing that he may not see the field for another whole year? Think with your head instead of your arse!

Oh, like the fact that Jayden Daniels is a top 3 QB in modern LSU history? Is that a fact you're willing to talk about?

This is stupid. If you're a fan of the team, why are acting holier than thou for a member of another team? Did you wish Tim Tebow well when he was playing for Florida? If not, why not?

I've said before, I don't wish any ill will on Howard, but he's now no longer a member of LSU's team, so screw him.
