bring a gun if you plan on hanging around the tailgates around the stadium neighborhood

Yeah not planning on doing any Disney parks or anything. May check out a brewery or two and get some food. Thanks for the info.
Crooked Can will probably be your best bet

I went to Saban's last game as LSU's coach against Iowa back on Jan. 1, 2005. Ending was like someone pissed in LSU's cornflakes.

absolutely, Ive been to the area and never felt unsafe. Where would you recommend staying if you are flying in for a guys trip (married) and will not go to any parks?

Depends on what you want to do? Bar-hop? Bring your clubs for golf? Breweries? Older or younger crowd?
If you can find something, I'd check into the "Milk District" or Mills 50 area. Lots of food. Lots of drink. Close to the 408, or side roads, for access to the stadium. I-drive is the tourist area. Lots of stuff to do including Top Golf, ICON park, and tons of restaurants and only 15-20 minutes away.

Seats for McCartney show even in upper deck were fine. Stadium was clean. Short concession lines. Very short security line - they have it down pat. Friendly ushers. A breeze to get in and out of. Uber drop off right at Stadium entrance. We felt like VIPs. There were tons of families walking to the soccer game that night just a few blocks from Camping World. If it was dangerous families would not be walking back in the dark to their cars a mile or more away. 70k people leaving at night. Didn't hear of any issues or problems

Went in 2005. You could park in town for $5 car and busses constantly rolled bringing you to the stadium. After the game the same process. They had plenty of busses. We left the stadium and we’re back at the Disney Hilton in a little over 30 minutes if I remember correctly. It was an absolute breeze in and out.

Stadium is dated . Went in 2018 when we lost to notre dame . It was a unusually cold and rainy game . You have to walk a mile for a Uber . Not a bad trip though plenty to do around town .

I get the stadium seems to be in a bad area but care to elaborate?
I don’t really think it is. There are big spaces around it for tailgating or for whoever to set up stages and vending booths.
I was just there over the summer watching some soccer and was there for Louisville. The stadium itself isn’t bad.
Only thing is I don’t know if there are a lot of places to stay rt by the stadium. I just got an Airbnb last time and ubered to the stadium. But after I walked to a bar then walked to the Airbnb. I never really felt in danger.

It’s not. I’ve lived here my whole life, never had an issue. They rebuilt the stadium and did a good job.

Pizza Bruno! Best pizza in town. It’s a chicken next to whiskey Lou’s was also great, but they’re moving. Still bummed about that. Pig Floyd’s and black rooster in Mills are awesome.

Grand Bohemian is solid and in a good location. Close to stadium and good places to eat and drink in Mills, Milk district, Thornton park, Baldwin park and Winter park areas.

Perhaps Aaron Judge can buy us a better ST coach???
