They knew it would flop. They fully accept incremental brain-washing and conditioning. As to profits, there is no need for Disney / MSNBC / New York Times / Hollywood to care about on-the-book profits when they are all being subsidized under the table by the luciferian Under-World controllers to promote/advance perversion that corrupts Western culture.
All this. No such think as “go woke go broke” when you are being subsidized by evil. They are playing the long game with social programming.

I was never a huge Disney fan growing up. a few of their animated films were cool but majority of it was mediocre. was more of a fan of the Japanese Godzilla movies as a kid. my dad bought me the VHS Godzilla collection. my parents also introduced me to a lot of 80s movies like the Goonies, Escape New York, Robocop. some movies had a lot of violence in the 80s but they really never cared.
went to see Dusk till Dawn with my parents when I was a kid. so much swearing in that movie plus Salma Hayek sexy dance scene. Being a kid in the 90s was so much cooler than today.

For better or worse, kids in the 80's and 90's weren't told that nobody is against you and things always turn out your way.

Just shared this with family and friends who have children.

This is the first I have heard of this
I don't have a link but I can vouch for the fact that his initial position was to stay out of it, then he got taken behind the woodshed and came back and apologized and sucked the rainbow pickle publicly and with as much gusto as he could fake.

If a Disney movie was made after 2015 I ha e to watch it first before my kids do.
Not just the movies.
It's all the other TV shows they come out with that are grooming kids.

Is anyone surprised there is no audience for this stuff?
I am shocked. I've had years of the media telling us +90% of the country is gay and whoever isn't, is a lying bigot.

Iger is a smart money type. I don’t see him allowing this kind of cash bleeding to please a few whackos to continue. Chapek probably didn’t want to either but was too weak to stop it.

I don't think they care much about profit when it comes to grooming. They're playing the long game and will keep pumping this shite out until more and more youth get brainwashed and wind up with severe mental illness

That won’t stop it.
This isn’t real money.

Exactly this. Think of it as an offering or tribute.

Iger started the pandering. Who do you think hired Kathleen Kennedy? Who do you think oversaw the Last Jedi and the other star wars feminist crap we've gotten? These movies you're seeing released were planned and funded under Iger. Chapek wasn't even the CEO that long.

Here is a video link where he is apologizing and the panel of LGBQT+ panel that he is about to listen to.

Exactamundo. (And their Long Game has now bloomed into the tail-end of its End Game :-/
Moreover, as another poster pointed out -- all of these losing TV/Movie propositions can all be subsidized by freshly inked Monopoly money at a whim.
NO real, legit business model can take the constant financial hits the usual SJW propaganda outlets take -- like Disney, the New York Times, WaPo, Time Mag, etc -- UNLESS they are knee deep in guacamole under the table.

I was gunna make a thread about it, but I guess that I will just bury it here...
Remember when a US congresswoman had this to say:

all about this:
But Not one single word has been said about this. I wonder why this is (D)ifferent?

North Dakota state Rep. Ruth Buffalo (D) told the Pioneer Press that the classic Land O’Lakes imagery goes “hand-in-hand with human and sex trafficking of our women and girls … by depicting Native women as sex objects.”
and then this from a supposed scholar:

American indigenous academic Lisa Monchalin wrote in her book “The Colonial Problem: An indigenous Perspective on Crime and Injustice in Canada” that the Land O’Lakes woman was an example of the romanticized and sexualized construction of indigenous women.
