I don't care for that Yankee stuff with mushroom soup and fried onions. Straight to jail.

I love it all. It all just goes together.

Turkey with gravy and cranberry sauce, cornbread dressing and sweet potato casserole with the brown sugar etc... topping are my favorites.

We've never had mashed potatoes either, but we had some mashed white sweet potatoes recently and they were outstanding.

None of it. Absolutely none it.

It is on that day that I lament the fact that there wasn't at least one f*cking paisan on the Mayflower. To be clear about this however, nonetheless I am indeed very thankful on that day.

I freakin love stove top. But I’m reading all these other people talking about stuffing and wondering if I could go fancier.

Oyster dressing
I am not a huge fan of oysters but is this a New Orleans thing? That is all we had growing up but any place outside NOLA I get looked at weird when people ask what kind of dressing or stuffing we had growing up.

The days after Thanksgiving, making a turkey sammich, lots of mayo, black pepper, and cranberry sauce all over it.

Good mix. My wife uses cornbread and stale loaf bread. I'm sure she would use old biscuits if she had them. She used to work in a restaurant that made the best cornbread dressing we've ever had. The old lady who made it threw in all the left over rolls and hushpuppies from the previous night, along with a healthy dose of pimentos. Served it on their lunch buffet the next day

Yeah, I'll use anything like that too of it needs to be used. Mainly just not all cornbread. It's a little too bitter, grainy, and not as fluffy to me otherwise.

Cold turkey sandwich on dinner rolls with warm gravy and the glass of the good Bordeaux that I hid from my wife's family.

In front of the fire, watching the Egg Bowl.

Oh, if you've never made your own dressing you're missing out. Let me see if I have a recipe on my phone.
