its crazy how people give their 2 cents in here and do not understand the concepts of Liquidity pools... Hell its crazy how people do not understand the stock market. do you think Elon can get cash out his 200 billion dollars?
Elon could liquidate but he’d lose a ton of value
It was my understanding that some of the gamecoin people weren’t permitted to liquidate. Totally different ballgame IMO

quote:werent permitted as is by contract? Or are you saying they werent permitted because the Gam coin liquidity pool only had like 18million dollars in it near the peak, IIRC.

quote:there is a difference between LPs and the stock market, as in the stock market, there has to be someone on the other side willing to buy... in an LP you can just trade one for the other in the LP but as you take a larger and larger portion the slippage kills your tradeout values as its killing the price.
Totally different ballgame IMO
the mechanics are different but the general premise is very similar. Back to elon you say hey only lose value... I belive he has so much stock in tesla if he started selling it all, there woulc be no more buy orders and the stock value would be 0. in an LP, the value will never reach 0 but it would approach it.
