They could, but the better question should be, do we take Vic or trade back with the Spurs for 5 1st rounders and take Scoot and have our lead guard paired with Z and BI for the next 10 years?
Decisions, decisions
Decisions, decisions

People are taking this way too seriously.
I drunk posted sarcastically while watching the Lakers fall apart.
Just to be clear, if we get the number one pick, we better fricking take Wembenyama.

My only holdback on Wemby is the long history the NBA has of over 7footers not having a long career and their career being injury riddled. His frame is literally his biggest attraction, yet biggest turnoff at the same time.

Wemby in OKC would be interesting to watch. They could damn near start like 5 guys that are 7’0 and above without anyone playing out of position. Lol.
I can’t wait to see when Zion goes to dunk on Chet Holmgren next year. That would be grotesque but it’s something I need to see bc of the physics. Or Wemby dunking on him since he is gonna be a Pel also would be cool.

All of those guys that got derailed by injury moved like Frankenstein because their bodies just weren't built right. Wembenyama moves fluidly so I don't think he'll have the structural integrity issues.

Wemby looks extremely natural with his frame. He moves smoothly out there.

In the last 5 seasons, he's averaging playing under 40 games per season.

unprotected pick outright in 2024, which has an option to be deferred to 2025
Does anyone know how long before the 2024 draft must the Pelicans make the choice before drafting in 2024 or deferring till 2025?

Imagine the Pelicans returning next season with the same lineup, except Billy is named Victor.
