You sure you aren’t referring to the 5.4L Triton? It has this issue and is notorious for it.

Anyway, I have a ‘22 with the 5.0L. Only have 600 miles on it, so I’m no help here. But the more you research the 5.0L, the less concerns you should have with it. I love it so far, and it sounds fantastic.

Yea the 5.0 is the reason I am going Ford, the 10 speed is my larger concern.
