BK "We can't expect to win games against top teams like TN throwing the ball 85 yrds" I agree with him. After that he says, "We have to look at out coaching..." I, again would agree with him! Lastly, he really tells us the truth by saying, "...Daniel's will be ready this Saturday!" Talk about a coach in denial! Here comes 4-2.

Isn’t running the ball the way to keep a good offense of the field?

Are you trying to criticize the coaching when the team is clearly better than they were the previous two years as a direct result of better coaching?

Yeah, it's a coaching issue,

What is he to do? Fans like you act as if every coach has a "Joe Burrow" button. Hit the right button and your new QB will win the Heisman.

Kelly has Daniels or Nuss. That's it! Both of them are very flawed. Daniels seems to have the yips, and can't throw the necessary routes, and Nuss is a turnover machine. The coaches had to pick one and see if they could coach the weakness out of him. Obviously they are seeing progress in practice that is not showing up yet in the game.

When to give up on Daniels and start the Nussmeier project is a fair question. I'd guess that with about three games left in the season, if Daniels hasn't shown enough improvement, they will give up and start preparing Nussmeier and Howard for next year.

So in what we have seen from our backup at this point, you feel like a swap would be beneficial? I'm not knocking Nuss here, just curious if you really think we would be better off?

you guys have such a short memory. we finished the season with a WR at QB. O left Kelly with a pile of shite. We have a transfer QB, one who has repeatedly shown has the skills but isn't ready yet, and one who got fat and lost his desire to compete and quit. I think some of you would rather lose games just to see the ball get thrown inconsistently than play who give us the best chance for a win. If you cant see the improvement on this team since Kelly took over then you really should just go buy a Florida or USC shirt and follow the coach you really wanted.

I actually find CBK's talking/pressers much more appealing than the past two HC's. I think he carries himself with a high level of professionalism, answers questions directly to where you understand what he is saying and don't have to decipher, and given the fact that we are a play away from being undefeated right now after having 39 guys on scholarship in January, he is exceeding my expectations. This team has a legit chance of going 9-3 or better this year and who would have thought.

As far as the QB situation, I trust him completely that he feels that JD gives us the best chance to win right now.

Maybe he meant that JD will be ready to play (from an injury standpoint). I didn’t watch it so I’m going by context in your post.

DUDE! He's working with the material that he has on hand. I promise you he sees what you see and knows FAR BETTER THAN YOU AND I what can and can't be done about it.

You are a fricking fool. When the coach starts talking shite about his players and tells media his Qb is terrible than that coach is done. Coaches inspire, teach, promote confidence, instill the will to persevere, to play for each other, never give up, play with passion. Coaches don't shite on their players which is what you are wanting him to do. You obviously are like most posters in here and never played an organized sport in your life or coached any team.
