I'm pretty sure that's a felony in Louisiana.
From the OB. Those baws done fricked up

For minor tournaments, cheaters could be charged with a Class A misdemeanor and face up to a year in jail or a maximum $4,000 fine. But if the prize is more than $10,000, contestants could be charged with a third-degree felony, spend two to 10 years in prison and pay up to a $10,000 fine.

I heard they previously had won over $300,000 in tournaments
They won $306k last year alone.

Imagine being the guys that came in second and watching this.

I'm no bigtime fisherman by any means but wouldnt a guy who fishs alot generally be able to tell the weight of a fish just by looking at it? I mean a 12 inch bass probably weighs a certain amount , a 6 inch bass probably weighs a certain amount etc... Would be sketchy if a judge went to weigh a fish when in his mind the fish looks like it weighs 2 lbs only to weigh 4 lbs when weighed. Maybe slip one fish in not all

When I fished tournaments in Louisiana. Anything outside of a small club tournament the winners had to submit to a lie detector test right after weigh in.

Fella got caught shoving lead weights in fish. Sounds like he has been up to this for a while.
Dude got lured to the dark side, and took the bait, but as is usually the case, he got caught, and hopefully they fry his arse.

Quality puns right there.
I guess the other contestants smelt a rat.

But since everyone is doing it, it’s OK. Least that’s what I learned here on the photograph voting thread.

Add money or prestige to any activity, and it all changes.
These guys will have to move far away. Or give back that 306k to all the other competitors

Yea more I think about it if I’m in cheater’s shoes there I’m knocking somebody out
If the cheater had thrown a punch he would’ve, at minimum, been seriously injured. He’s lucky he didn’t get his arse beat anyway.

My grandpa used to tie bass to trees before tournaments and make bank.

Chess, poker, now fishing....
Common factor: in each one something was shoved inside of something/someone. Weird

even failed their polygraph test after they won the fall brawl a year or two ago, but their attorney saved their asses from the sounds of it.
I'm not fishing any tourney where the prospect of someone needing an attorney is possible.
