It wouldn't take much to so. This game has the makings of an upset.

-AU is down, coach is on the hot seat, could make for a rallying performance
-JD is constantly getting heat for not moving the ball downfield. He could press a little too much and throw costly pics.
-No one we've played yet has the talent to soften our DL by making them move boundary to boundary. AU might have the athletes in the back field to do so.

That said, I don't think they will get it done. I think our corners and LB's will be disciplined, make great open field tackles, and as a result, our DL will eat their fill mid way through the 3rd.

It's close at half, LSU pulls away late. LSU 31-17

By who?

Tigerdroppings?

I haven’t seen any legitimate complaints about him outside of this board. Kelly and the coaching staff have been very complimentary of him in pressers

I’d be more worried if harsin had been fired and you get the interim boost

I’m not writing this game off but I think we had a wake up with Florida state and don’t think this team will write off anyone anymore.

That's a lot - if he changes his spots from 0 pics thus far to multiple ones, that's what I'd call laying a big one in the sheets. But I won't relax until its over and we are on the other side with a win. And not to discount your opinion, I feel like what we've shown defending the boundary thus far along with the way our back 7 have tackled along with the caliber of athlete we have at LB and safety, I think we are in good shape there.

I think if you lay odds, the other QB is the more likely one to press and give up TO's especially if House keeps throwing exotic and confusing looks out there. I think it is going to be critical to be disciplined on pass rush lanes and not just go willy-nilly upfield, which is what cost us the game last year in my opinion. As an aside, Harold Perkins seems as if he would be a dramatically effective counter piece to any QB having a success on fire-drill plays. Anyways, perhaps I'm just whistling past the graveyard, but my brain says based on what I've seen this year we should be good.
