Strange because Ron Cooper was considered a great coach but bad recruiter here under Chief. Then Raymond was an elite recruiter but was never considered a great technical teacher. He was also a protege of Pelini.
This is somewhat of a patchwork quilt we have with holdovers and portal guys, transfers, etc. Yet we are holding together through 4 games of mixed bag opponents and schemes. The stretch run starts in 6 days…and that will tell the tale of this unit, this team and their season.
