The improvement from week 1 to week 3 is impressive.

Especially the defense. They were smothering.

It's clear to me that the coaching staff is learning the personnel and running plays, both offensive and defensive, that complements that personnel.

We still need to clean up the false starts, but as the game went on, the offense started to click.

I could even see that JD was getting coached up as the game progressed.

It feels like the team is starting to learn their responsibilities so now the coaching staff can start coaching the individual.

I'm cautiously optimistic.

It’s clear to me that House can coach a championship caliber defense in the SEC.

DO you remember the third and House threads during the first game?

It takes time for a brand new team and coaches to learn each other. This team is a work in progress 8-9 wins is achievable 10 would be over achieving.

I am excited about the o-line. BK seems to have the right combination out there. I would say that MSU's defense is better than FSU's and they looked better against MSU. Being able to run the ball is big and we in the 4th quarter we did that.

It is improvement....but we will see how we do against better comptetition. We are manufacturing a team as we go, and that is a good thing.

I have faith in the coaches and players.

Dumbasses on here wanted Aranda fired during the 2019 season lmao. You can't put any stock in what is said in the heat of the moment on the Scoreboard lol.

The hardcore Ed pumpers HATED Aranda. They resented the respect and admiration he got and thus shite on him relentlessly that season.

He earned that name in that game. Good on them to figure it out.

I’d say from week 1 to week 3, LSU has made the most progress in the SEC. Maybe the country.

If LSU played a week 0 game, they'd likely be undefeated.

This... New coaches (almost) top to bottom and many of the players are new to LSU...

It would be difficult to overstate coaches getting to see how the players respond under the lights

Agree with the OP 100%.

I also think we were adversely affected by not playing a week 0 game.

Having said that, the fact that the bulk of our difficult match-ups occurs in the back-half of the schedule is a good thing in that it should give this team further opportunities to tune-up and develop.

Definitely promising signs.

I agree but JD needs to find his receivers and deliver and get Emery going because when we face a stout defense they will kill JD when runs.

All I’m saying is, Kelly was getting really heated when JD kept sailing passes out of bounds on a crucial 4th quarter drive. He then calls a timeout, and JD comes right back out and drops an absolute dime to Nabors on 4th & 3. Can’t be a coincidence that those 2 things happened sequentially. It sure is nice to the see the team evolve like that right before our eyes. The impact of coaching is remarkably apparent. Still a lot of room to improve, but I’m damn sure we’ve got the right guy to get us there.

What's a constant is the amount of fans that won't allow a new HC, new staff and new players to adjust and grow. Expectations were set way above the attainable for the 1st year.

You aren't respected or admired on here so why do you get relentlessly shite on?

Overreaction take most likely but…….Ojulari and Perkins may be the best two bend the edge pass rushers we’ve ever had together at the same time.

could be a scary scary defense!
