I binge-watched all 8 seasons of GOT after it ended. I don’t know how I’m gonna survive waiting for these episodes to come out each week.

And how many books have you written, Sparky? How many TV series? I get people are annoyed he hasn't officially written the ending of ASOIAF, but the man has definitely done more than "a thing".

I would be all in on a spin off on the Doom of Valyria.
However I think the Dunk and Egg stories as well as the Snow spin off have the most possibility of irreverent, bawdy characters that would be fun to follow, especially if Giantsbane and Dolorous Edd are involved.

As far as the books go, I'm pretty sure that the Velaryons never rode dragons. I think the first ones to ever do so were the two kids of Corlys and Rhaenys, which I'm guessing they only had the opportunity to do because their mother was the Queen Who Never Was.

And this is why you are on a message board and GRRM is happily living the life. He was a successful author and TV screenwriter before ASOIAF. He then created such a wonderful fantasy world, it attracted the megamillions coming in for the intellectual property rights. I doubt there was anything in the HBO contract about having to finish the books.

Kit isn't a great actor so going to the well again is a good idea.
