If you were comparatively at fault for the accident, then depending on how much fault, it might affect your premium.

Law Baw.
Yes. The adjuster is not bound by the accident report and any findings of fault by the LEO and can make his/her own fault determinations (of course, they should conduct an investigation beyond the accident report). Now, that's not gospel (the judge or jury is the ultimate fact finder), but unless you file suit (or go to arbitration if that's allowed/required in Alabama), that determination will control the handling of your UM claim (and any payments).
