BRPD investigate attempted sexual assault near overpass district

The Baton Rouge Police Department responded to the 2200 block of Hollydale Avenue around 8 p.m. on Sunday night. No arrests have been made, and police did not release any information about possible suspects.

It's been called that for almost 30 years as far as I can remember.
Just did a quick search and I found plenty apartment listings from 1996 in the Advocate Archives for the Overpass District.

This POS Needs to be caught asap.

I've lived in or been around the Baton Rouge area my entire life (more than 30 years) and some of my extended family lived within 6 blocks of the overpass. The area has always been referred to as the Perkins Road Overpass area or Perkins Overpass. Never heard this area called the "Overpass District."
Also, your 1954 classified ad calls it "Perkins Overpass district."
(and, the margherita pizza, off menu, at DiGiulio Brothers near the Perkins Road Overpass is excellent)
