A lot can be attributed to the media, which is left wing, politicizing pretty much everything. They agitate and gaslight 24/7 then wonder why people are agitated. Definitely makes me distrustful of people who claim to be leftists

I don’t know. I feel absolutely great about not spending my money on Disney in light of their political stances. I’m good with it. It will not make a microscopic difference to Disney but I can feel good about standing on principle.

No, they don't. Their right lean is nothing compared to the observable fact that the left's media is just our leftist government's bullhorn. That's what regular people hate about those networks.

Watching the sheep turn their lives upside down over a differing point of view is hilarious.
There aren’t many common views that both sides share these days. That’s the issue. Has nothing to do with what tv stations people watch.
One side’s majority is anti-patriotism, anti-military, anti-law enforcement, anti-capitalism, pro-open borders, pro-legalized drugs, and pro-indoctrination of children….I can’t find common ground with people that think that way.
Love of country used to be the common ground and that has evaporated in the last decade+

That one guy on the radio is dead now.

I have friends and family across the entire field of political views. I’m not political at all. We all get along. I refuse to let another person’s belief system determine if I should watch their movie or listen to their music. I’m going to do things I enjoy, regardless of political and even religious choice.

It’s an “in group” “out group” thing that supersedes everything else in a lot of people’s minds. “Oh he was the QB of my favorite team, he’s the star of my favorite show, he has a great cooking channel”, “oh he’s evil and stupid because he disagrees with me politically on any issue”.

What's so ironic is that 20 years ago I would have been arguing the exact same propaganda points you clearly believe in now. And you'd have said I was intelligent then. I voted for Bush both terms. Voted Libertarian the last time I bothered to vote. There's a whole world of thought outside of your narrow little band. But you have to want to see it.

People have figured out how to make money off of your tribalism and outrage. If you are one of those who thinks the other “side” is “just a bunch of ______”, then congratulations, you’re a mark.
Fortunately, there’s an easy remedy for you: go outside and interact with your fellow Americans. The world would be a boring place if we all saw things the same way. Have the emotional intelligence and humility to acknowledge that a good and intelligent person might see something a little different than you and that’s OK.

This thread should be moved to the poliboard, but if you can’t be bothered to vote, you don’t have any say in politics of the country.
