What’s your most irrational fear?

Mine is having my teeth chipped or knocked out.
Also, accidentally grabbing my razor instead of my toothbrush in the morning and cutting the frick out of my gums and lips.
Wby I’ll hang up and listen.
ETA: Didn’t realize that many people were scared of bugs. Bugs/spiders don’t get me at all. I had a tarantula that was cool as frick. Thing filled up my whole palm. She would sit on my chest and watch TV with me. Loved that monster.

Getting stuck in an elevator. I take the stairs wherever possible. I’ve gotten better over the years but I’m irrationally afraid of riding in them.

Getting trapped in a enclosed area like a pipe, a cave, even a window seat on an airplane can do it.
ETA: I've got another one.
Going over a crickety old low wooden bridge over water at night. Always felt like it was going to fall into the water or a wave would come over the bridge. But, it's only at night.
I may need a team of psychiatrists to check me out.

Getting attacked by a shark or gator. Anytime we go tubing or skiing and I get tossed I have to pretend like I’m not a nervous wreck anxious to get back in the boat.

Poverty. I grew up poor and although it’s pretty damn obvious, given my current lifestyle and finances I will never return to poverty, it scares me to death.
