You are welcome.
What’s the pricing of those canon feeders?

I’m not sure what the price is today…we bought 3 of them about 3 years ago and they were $1700 a piece. They are fully self sufficient other than loading them with feed. The ones we have hold about 650-700 lbs of corn (we use big tine so it holds closer to a thousand because of smaller grain size) and launch the feed about 50 yds away with around a 25 yard wide spread. It’s basically a potato gun that shoots feed.
Edit: the advantage is we only fill them up once a year it shoots about 2 lbs at a time it you can adjust that but they are expensive for a feeder and in my experience bear proof which would probably make them hog proof as well.
Edit: I said 3 years ago but my dad says we bought those in 2017 so I guess they are five years old…still running great!!

I’ve seen videos of them before and it’s a really neat idea. But the website avoids posting prices.

Dude that invented them is good ole boy from Texas. We heard him talking about his product on the Michael Berry Show and dude had us rolling with laughter. It’s basically a carbide gun (potato gun) with a little air tank, compressor, battery solar panel and a few other little parts…a pretty simple machine but genius at the same time…my dads biggest excitement about them is being able to load once a year and never walk through the feeding path again…the noise kinda becomes a dimmer bell for the deer and my buddy Kaufman, TX says he loves because the hogs tear everything up around his normal feeders and he has to deal with a mud hole when refilling them…he’s loves his as well. I say all that to say ole boy has come a long way since he started and with the price of stainless steel he probably doesn’t wanna advertise the price as I’d guess it’s probably doubled just because of material costs.

Holes like this? Haha!!

Yeah bro just like that…the biggest deer I’ve ever killed came off my buddy’s place in Kaufman. He also has an old Indian village thing on his property that we dig arrowheads and whatnot out of… one morning I went hunting and on the way back that evening I saw the ground all torn like someone had been digging with backhoe very sloppily figured my buddy was digging around and that day I learned the damage hogs can do.

This hole is not only flooded but it also has ducks in it for crying out loud!
Man the feral hog is an absolute mess nationally and we can’t get our houses in order to properly take massive action all together. It’s made my fav deer stands now become my hog stands. Frustrating.

So my dad lives in Magnolia he doesn’t have an issue but he only has 10 acres…we have 510 acres in NW Arkansas that we mainly hunt on but I didn’t see hogs until my friend in Kaufman…he’s walked out his front door to bring his kids to school and had them tearing up his front yard…it’s crazy he can’t kill enough of them…between him and his dad they a couple thousand acres mostly his dads but killing hogs is a must for them that pretty much all his dad does…I tell him he needs to make YouTube videos they’ve got those badass IR digital scopes they use to shoot them at night and then they have a couple of traps that are huge but from what they tell me it doesn’t make a dent in the population they just reproduce too fast.

I didn’t even notice the ducks!!! That’s awesome…where I hunt in MS, LA and AR we are always fighting the beavers…they are the ones that mess up our ponds and streams.
