This isn’t a “job” that anyone should have. We don’t need a baby formula “czar”. If the plant is up to specs, and the formula wasn’t the issue, the FDA should have never shut it down. Just another example of government screwing things up, then using more government to fix their own disaster.

Has the FDA addressed why the plant that manufactures a large percentage of the country’s formula is still shut down after months despite finding no evidence of the bacteria that killed *checks notes* 4 infants?
Also have they addressed why they won’t lift restrictions on importing high-quality European formula?
This whole situation seems weird and contrived.
