For some reason I can’t find it
The song is about suicide
Early 80’s
British band
Not a well known band
The title does not have suicide in it
But the song is all about killing oneself
Over a girlfriend
Band got there name from a 60’s tv show?
I heard it on my apple account
But didn’t catch the name of the song/band

I don’t know but trying to find it for you I found this and it made me sad.
quote:
Elizabeth on the Bathroom Floor was the opening number on the legendary Electro-Shock Blues Album. The song and album are a memoir of a period in Everett’s life where his mother was diagnosed with lung cancer, and his sister was going through Electric Shock Therapy (E.S.T.) The song is written from Elizabeth’s – Mark Oliver Everett’s sister – point of view. She, unfortunately, committed suicide. The album touches on many complex subjects, including death, cancer, and suicide.
