Just further proof that we had a checked out head coach and 2 very poor coordinators. Last year's team had plenty of talent

Was just about to post this. Yet another indictment of how fricking bad Ed Orgeron was.

I think Daronte is going to be a really good Defensive coordinator one day nothing but respect for what he did with that thrown together defense with all the opt outs and injuries.

No he didn’t…Aranda, Esminger and Brady hid how shitty of a Coach Ed O is.

I think we have at least one per round, so far.

Given how anemic the offense was, I thought that he was better than OK. I thought that he was pretty damned good.

Daronte made an unfortunate decision hitching his wagon to Coach O. He’ll be a really good coordinator somewhere. Definitely improved as the season progressed with a limited roster.
Daronte was OK.
. No he wasn’t. He wasn’t worth a shite either. Dude was nothing more than a DB coach at best for the last 15 plus years until Orgeron hired him after 8 other coaches turned him down.

I've never seen anything like it. Apparently, he has absolutely no sense of pride or self worth at all. To just fricking coast on his laurels the way he did is unexplainable.

ETA: Unless he was just riding Enzminger, Brady and Aranda's dicks the whole time. Coach E organized the Offense and Coach Aranda organized the Offense......

Has to be the case.

I disagree - O really got into a groove in 2018 and 2019 and then decided he didn’t want to grind anymore.

You mean the Georgia team that won a NC 4 months ago and beat a good Cincinnati team in the peach bowl with a 7-2 record in the Covid year?

Yeah, that team. The goal is to play for National Championships correct? You want to play in the big games, you need that top tier talent

Maybe you should compare us to the other SEC teams. I heard Alabama and Georgia had a decent number of players drafted too.

Now take our top draft pick out of the lineup along with the starting QB and tell me where we should have finished.
