Surprised but then not surprised as to where "Education" lies within the graph.

but the reality as supported by data is that men have a slightly higher average IQ than women (~0.25 SD)

4 IQ points, in the aggregate, is a pretty significant difference, especially when factoring in a Bell Curve distribution of IQs (especially in the case of male/female IQs where males more frequently disburse away from the median).
These 4 IQ points, on average, make women less likely to have the necessary IQ to be in middle management, far less likely to be in senior management/leadership positions, and even more unlikely to be in fields/roles that require IQ significantly above average.
Qualitatively, your point is as incorrect as it is technically incorrect

An important thing to remember re: IQ, stem fields and gender.
Everyone knows high IQ is related to Stem fields. However, the lack of females is not just due to culture. The majority of high IQ people are men. The AVERAGE is about the same. But men trend more to the extremes...Very high IQ and Very low IQ while women trend toward the middle.
There are way more male geniuses than female.

health professions low
Lots of simple jobs.
Also, jobs don't really require independent thought. Except in very rare research type roles for surgeons etc.
It's basically a collection of trades. You learn to perform a task and do so.
Nothing wrong with that.
It's just the nature of healthcare jobs.
Downvote away.

I agree. I've had 5 GPs in my life. They used to be called Family Doctors, then General Practitioners, now Primary Care Physicians.
I would put the average IQ of those 5 guys at between 115-120.
If anything got complicated they sent you to a specialist.

Graduated LSU with EE in 1960. the females in any of my engineering classes were not remembers = I am opining that there were none - or else I would have remembered it - especially if they were at all cute.
But at the time, it was not at all a usual situation. I also don't remember if the water in the bathroom was actually wet.

I can think of a few things actually. Lots of guys who have given up on the thought of having sex ever again in this thread. Nothing more stubborn than a guy who knows the sex isn’t either worth the effort or isn’t available when the effort is made so why make it

And more men (your "Very low IQ" folks, so we're in agreement) suffer from some sort of cognitive disability. Just taking "Fragile X" syndrome as one form of inherited issue, it is about 1 in 2500 males and 1 in 8000 females.

I notice that the subjects at the top of the chain consist of subject matter that is very hard to master. In order to learn even a little bit about physics or philosophy, you must study them actively and intently. It also helps if you discuss them with your fellow students constantly as well. You will never know physics, philosophy, or mathematics %100, only the gods have this much knowledge, but the more you strive for perfect knowledge the closer you will come to it. In other words, the more you exercise your mind, the more fit your mind will be. Having a fit mind is much like having a fit body. The more you work them out the more fit they become. Computers, calculators, and even TVs have made us all mentally lazy to a certain degree. The evil ones among us know this very well, and are taking full advantage.

It has absolutely been tough. She’s always been a smart one, and Tech has pushed that.
Most of the women move on to what Tech students call the “M Train,” which is Management, a business major that specializes in the corporate side of Engineering. Not saying she wasn’t tempted, but she’s made it through. She has one year left and has had some great internship opportunities.
She’s conservative, albeit not very political. She changed her voting registration to Georgia because her vote matters more there than it does in Mississippi, but you won’t see her at a rally/protest of any kind.
Engaged to a MAGA civil engineering major from Greenville, SC. I’m getting to know that area well because I feel like they will settle there.

Well, we were living in California and daughter got a presidential scholarship to Bama. A&M offers nothing. Money talks!
She was also originally wanting to be a speech therapist, so she wanted a communications disorders degree that A&M did not offer.
Now, her dream job is to eventually do software for alternative communications devices.
