This will be a fun thread.

Clearly they just want a veteran backup. Its fine. He's better than Trevor.

Less likely they draft a QB early now. Still doesn’t rule it out. They weren’t gonna roll with Book as the backup.

That all but seals it. They are not drafting a QB this year.

Does this mean we have doubts Winston will be ready game 1?

Not a bad move. But if Winston was to get hurt I’d rather just tank at that point.

I mean...there’s really not one that clearly seems he’ll pan out anyways. Better to shore up the OL or get another great WR, see what Jameis has in a full season and look for a QB in another draft

Not a bad signing as a backup. I’m okay with it.

I thought we still had Bortles on the roster. Did he get released?

No, they just currently don't have a real veteran backup QB with Taysom going to TE/Gadget full time

Makes sense when you're saying taysom is full time tight end now.

don't think this signing impacts the possibility of the Saints drafting a QB at all

he's a veteran QB... break glass in case of emergency... that's all

nothing more, nothing less

Why on ever loving earth does Dalton affect drafting a QB of the future?

Hopefully people remember when we almost ran out of QBs and Kamara was close to playing QB.
