That’s the way all of these awards go. Which is why we had a issue for bears with best cinematography because a certain group of cinematographers were just under a gentlemens agreement to just keep voting for each other.
That is a large reason why the Academy was saying they need to bring in new people, to break up the blatant favoritism from some of these groups.
