I’m kind of a nerd, so I enjoy things like Disney Villainous, Gloomhaven, Horrified, etc.

Risk or Monopoly are great for family game night with your kids if you like lots of crying and fighting. It teaches them the world isn’t fair.

Fairly broad question. Are you talking party games or more hardcore strategic games? There are so many modern games of every type. If you are talking party games for non-gamers for 6+ players, I highly recommend ‘Code Names’. You’ll thank me later.

Twilight Struggle. But you have to like history. It’s also longer and very strategic. So not something I recommend for say family night.

ETA: if your looking for something that is fast and can play multiple times, try sushi go. It’s a take on go fish but actually fun.

If it's friends and/or family game play Beyond Balderdash can be really amusing.
