What worries me is that Biden is commander in chief with the nuke briefcase.

This is a reasonable offer for Russia
There were plenty of posts saying why should Russia determine who can join nato? A valid point when dealing with rational people. But obviously that isn't the case. When digging bodies out of rubble is the alternative I would have made that agreement. Who gives a shite if Ukraine is in NATO when a building is falling on your head?

A gallows and a rope, or a sane person in Moscow putting a bullet in Putin's head

Occupy the eastern portions of Ukraine (basically East of the Dnieper), where Russia has more support, take control of the capital, install a government friendly to Moscow, and retreat to the eastern states while arming the new government.

you well could be right
I would only hope that somehow Binden gets an advisor with some smarts that gives Biden some advice that enables that which you say

It is apparent that the Administration strategists are way ahead on this one. Biden has not made any knee-jerk statements or commitments. Everything has been methodical. They understand the situation and it appears to be Putin and his team who has made the significant tactical error. I could be totally off base, but I don't think I am. Russia is isolated here, not the United States or Western Europe. The trap is well set.

This is a reasonable offer for Russia. At this point though, the US has the upper hand by a wide margin. We have kept out of the mud and maintained military neutrality while inflicting a blow to Russia that is still growing.
Unfortunately - We do not have the upper hand.
We do, however, have a unique ability to make this happen and we are not in part bc the MIC wants war bc $$$ and somebody in our own government is hiding some secret motivation. That’s what makes me furious about the whole situation.
I don’t have a dog in this fight and neither do you. The only thing negatively affecting our county is the economic shrapnel we’re getting hit with - partially self inflicted by globalist moronic ness but exacerbated by incredibly bad judgment to date. There is no danger that Putin is invading us. Russia does not have the economic wherewithal to actually run Ukraine. Putin doesn’t want to seize a third world country just bc he can. The dude is lethal and will kill ppl - but he doesn’t want to take on a welfare state half of which hates his fricking guts.
Military involvement is a net negative for us. Everyone else but the MIC and the moron running this country realizes that.
Nobody wants a war.
Putin doesn’t want Ukraine.
Putin just wants a NATO buffer and we’re getting outplayed by him and China bc the people involved on the US’s behalf arent interested in what’s best for the country, or for Ukraine - but instead in preserving their little whatever they have going on over there that they don’t want anyone involved (not Russia, not Americans, not ordinary Ukrainians) to know about.

I do too. Our key indicator is whether Putin makes a break in his demands for an end to the war and offers something significantly different in the coming days. That will signal that Putin has realized his weakness. If that happens, the strength of Biden's position will become clear and he will remain silent and unavailable to Russia in the negotiations.

I keep saying this is a disaster for Russia and Putin.
Time will tell.
Vlad is a more calculating, more detail-oriented, more pragmatic leader than his EU counterparts and infinitely more so than PotatoBrain. Not a moral judgement. Not supportive of Putin. Just matter-of -fact, the way it is.
None of that means you're wrong. Putin is lined up opposite a behemoth of collected economies. From that standpoint, Russia should be a massive underdog here.
Assuming Vlad doesn't know Russia is at potential disadvantage, hasn't analyzed that fact, hasn't studied respondent contingencies, and isn't a step or two ahead of the West in planning would be a HUGE mistake!

Well - if you can’t see the extreme risk that military involvement would do to our countrymen, ourselves, our coffers and peace and stability in the world- I’d probably fire you as a client.

You are absolutely correct here.
We will not get involved militarily.

This is good news for the Biden's money laundering platform in Ukraine and keeps Hunter's cashflow going with his biolabs, gas, oil, hookers and whatever other crooked deals he's got going in Ukraine.
