This feels like a race to the ceiling re:gas prices.

I know another gas price thread but man this shite feels like a race to the ceiling. I can’t ever in my life remember prices raising this much this fast. Was 3.89 by the house last night, 4.29 today. I mean I knew we’d see 4+ but hell This is like 60 cents in a week. Biggest jumps over the last 3 days.

Who says there’s a ceiling?

What does everyone think the ceiling is for S. La? $6.50?

Even without Putin stupid shite we were going to see 4 dollars a gallon in the South

Blaming it on Ukraine has failed, and while I'm willing to acknowledge it isn't all on Brandon's fault, it's the economy stupid. They will feel the pain at the ballot.

Your locals are screwing you. As in purposely

America has to save the planet from climate change bro. We’ll do our part, and buy the world’s fossil fuels. In that way, we can feel better about ourselves, and if there’s one thing I know, it’s Americans love to feel good about themselves.
I do find it disconcerting however that I haven’t seen any selfies of liberals at the gas pump signaling to everyone to look at them and what lengths they are more than happy to save the planet.
Maybe they’re waiting to get to the grocery store and get their new grocery bills. That should resonate.

And not one mfering gallon of gas you buy over the next two weeks cost one cent more to make etc.
This is pure arse price gouging. I remember 30 years ago he econ professor explained it like this.
As soon as gas station owners find out that gas is going to be more expensive they raise the prices on the pumps even though the gas and their storage tanks has not increased in price one fricking penny. When gas prices have sudden decreases, they don’t do the same thing.
this is exactly why I buy all my gas at Costco or Sam’s. They don’t do that stupid shite. I am paying cost plus their percentage that’s it. Right now their gas is about $.30 cheaper than the rest of fricking mobile

$3.99 here today in Central Florida. Was $3.79 yesterday.

You'll be at 5.50 in sLA and I'll be up here in NETx at 4.50 the same day.
Can we settle the BBL issue once and for all? When it's 50 bbl, the OT complains. At 100 bbl, the same Louisiana guys complain.

We went from $3.09 to $3.69 overnight, then up to $3.75 today.

It’s obviously all the fault of those evil corporate CEOs and their thirst for profits, right Brandon?

As a lay person, explain that. Does that make sense to see

Last time this happened, I remember plenty of people trading in their low MPG vehicles for cars with higher fuel efficiency. I don't see how that is possible at this point.
If Congress bans import of Russian oil without easing domestic restrictions, watch out. They dgaf anyway.

The prices will rise until you buy your government sponsored electric car.
