South Arkansas and North Louisiana have much more in common with each other than we do with the other halves of our respective states.

Not so fast my friend. How far south and how far west? Also, I spent about 5 years traveling in N LA for work. You could always tell when deer season started by all the empty corn bags all over the side of the road. That would have to stop before we would consider the annex.
