Gotta love his big brained ideology of turning Ingram into a mid range jump shooter and playing Garrett temple 20 MPG every night

I get the lineup argument, but you think they would’ve fought like this for SVG?

I’m holding official judgment until next season but his infatuation with Temple and not playing Jose when we need defense are major red flags.

Out on Willie is definitely a little strong. He’s done a lot right with this team. But the GT thing is dumbfounding. I never seen something so glaringly obvious and so easy to fix. You can’t convince me that Trey would be worse than -23 +/-.

Monty frustrated us too and he ended up being a good coach. Maybe we just need patience. But the Temple stuff is very frustrating

Do we really think Naji or Trey over GT would have made that big of a difference?

I would have liked to see Jose harass Luka's fat arse.

I sort of do think it would have helped not lose momentum so drastically.

I'm not out on Willie, not at all, but at this point in his career, he has not shown much aptitude for how to use his rosters and in-game rotations to create tactical advantages, and he has been indefensibly stubborn with his game to game rotations.

We ran basically an 8 man rotation despite all the foul trouble and gave Temple, who has been absolutely abysmal for basically all season, 20 of those minutes. There is simply no defense for that. I mean he had a -23 and gave us nothing, and the Mavs were feasting on him, and Willie did nothing until the game was out of reach.

Given present circumstances, BI probably needs to shoot a few more mid-rangers than last year, and I'm one that HATES mid-range shots. CJ may allow BI to get a few more open 3s, and, of course, this Zion guy I keep hearing about should provide a bunch of open C&S 3s for BI and everybody else, for that matter.

possibly. Trey is a better corner 3 shooter than Temple which is a spot that’s open often. But let’s say it doesn’t make a difference, I’d rather let the rookie get valuable experience in game and develop then let a geriatric take up space and time and contribute to practically nothing.

Willie is scared of the veterans. He would rather bully the inexperience guys because he can. The veterans has been around and will not buy his crap.

Jose has been playing well and he definitely deserves some minutes, but what happens he sits him. Incredible,Incredible, Incredible.

Griffin may be letting Willie hang himself by his inability to adjust this season so they can let him go next season.

Highly unlikely but his constant rotation of defense players will never beat a above 500 team, because they can't score. He should realize that, but obviously Willie is drawn to those players because that's what he was.

If you look at the Dallas game, you lost by 6 points. I guarantee you either one of the Rooks could score 6 points especially with CJ commanding so much attention.
TMIII is a spot up shooter and would thrive with someone like CJ who can penetrate and dish.

Perhaps your left shark privileges need to be reconsidered.

You're too emotional Hendo. I hope a good night's sleep has made you less morose.

I wouldn't say scared of them but I do think he doesn't want to hurt feelings. Which you cant do as a coach. Temple is a vet that has gotten 20+ minutes every where he's been his entire career and I think he's hesitant to just cut his minutes for a guy like TM3. It needs to be done though, even if its just cutting them in half right now and gradually empty them. Literally anything will help.

If Temple is a team player, he wont wont be a distraction with his minutes getting cut. Just look at Naji, im sure he was expecting a bigger role but you see him on the sidelines being the best teammate you could imagine.

How is he bullying them and what crap is he selling? Herb was a 2nd round pick and and he got him in the starting lineup quick once he saw what he might have in him. Jose was undrafted and started to get significant minutes. TM3 is the one guy you question his decision making on. He's in a tough spot with Jose.

Griffin might as well hang himself if he does that.

I mean, people thinking he was a savante are a bit naive. He is a really raw guy with potential, but nothing about him screamed instant success. There are going to be serious and sever growing pains with him.

It’s also the reason some of these coaching hires have been ridiculous. You take guys with limited experience and just project success without any data to back it up.

In the end, he needs time to develop as a coach. Don’t expect miracles or major growth off the bat.
