Is salmon that was left out okay to eat?

I baked salmon last night and put the leftovers in a sealed container and put it on the counter. I forgot about it until i woke up this morning and then put it in the fridge. It smells fine still, but I was wondering if it was okay to eat. TIA

Unless you feel the need to barf or poop uncontrollably, I'd pass...

Why do you think they call it Salmonella baw?

I would slam it, but never tell anyone. I have a dumpster for a gut.

One night? Especially if it was cooked it should be fine.

I would but I have an iron stomach and eat lots of things my wife recoils at the food sanitation protocols I (didn't) follow. What doesn't kill you... right?

Don't mess around with raw chicken or questionable seafood, baw.

I would eat it. Don't be a coward

Sounds like a great way to get yourself stuck on the toilet for days.

Lord how much food do some of you throw away? If it was multiple days sure, but cooked and one night is just not gonna kill ya.

You really asking if seafood left out over night is ok to eat?
Posted on 2/8/22 at 11:57 am to Jcorye1
Well most people refrigerate seafood.

Two hour rule. Don't do it.

I actually do it all the time. As long as you aren't a freak setting your heater at 90 degrees at night, it'll be fine to eat today

Donate it to a homeless person. Better to not let it go to waste.

Your house at 70 degrees is just as dangerous

There's a gulf of misery between perfectly fine and killing you. I've found myself in it from a poor decision involving boiled shrimp.
I didn't die, but I wanted to.
