My neighbor lost 7 deer with his bow this year alone. He cant shoot for shite and his setup is garbage. (short draw, light arrow, huge dull mechanical, shite tune on the bow) There are thousands of people like this out there.
YES, THOUSANDS OUT THERE like that. It's peer pressure. If you use anything but what is styling, you will be the outcast of the friends group. Sharpening and semi daily touch up is not done any more. Its a shame. All those lost deer. I only shoot fix heads, and i keep them scalpel sharp.
Its so easy. This season i began shooting the Wasp Hammer 125. And i keep them scary sharp. Since 1986, the blood trails i saw this year were unbelievable. Its all about Sharpness, like that rubber band jig demonstrated.
Peer pressure also effects the shoot don't shoot situation. Your buddies kilt 2 so far . You gonna try that shot you know you should not be taking. You gotta appear on face book with something.
One must overcome all of this. Hunt for yourself, and put conservation back into the equation. If the shot is iffy, even on a 145 buck, pass. Hunt him again another time. It is Just a deer.
