I don’t get this mentality. Would rather be mediocre in the present to avoid maybe being bad at some point in the future? Hell maybe if you eventually have a bad season it will be one with a franchise QB in the draft

More that I think mediocre in the present is likely our ceiling without the qb or coach. I’d rather not get to wreckless for marginal improvement.
