The salary cap is expected to grow to $208.2 million in 2022. That's a 14.1% increase from the 2021 salary cap.

The Bills are expected to have just more than $7.5 million in salary cap space, eighth lowest in the NFL, according to Over The Cap. Buffalo has 41 players under contract in 2022.

Buffalo could release center Mitch Morse to save $8.5 million in cap space while taking a $2.75 million hit in dead money. The Bills could save $6.1 million with $1.5 million in dead cap by parting ways with wide receiver Cole Beasley. They could also save $5.1 million by releasing linebacker A.J. Klein. with only $400,000 in dead money.

Losing some depth, but probably not enough to be threatened in the AFC East unless Mac makes a heckuva jump. They'll need to find a new #1 in the near future, didn't realize Diggs was nearing 30. He will want a new contract after next year.
