He is a Louisiana Kid his family is from BR his dad attended SU Lab played football and ran track. LSU has the up because of this.

Great pickup if we get him but why is this guy ebpven in the portal after being a 3 year starter and all Big 12 with 1 year eligibility left?

Several reasons:
To be able to prove show he is NFL ready. Playing for LSU is arguably the best program to do that.
As well as coming back home, he is from Shreveport. And to be a center point in a position of need. LSU really needs top DBs right now. He will get huge amount of playing time and will start.

Jermaine Burton just transferred after winning national championship. He transferred to the team they just beat.

I thought they would pull up when you look him up or click the link.
The only thing I can think of is you are on his “recruiting profile” page on 247.
Which would only show his High school schools and Crystal balls.

I’m assuming because this is coming out now, he’s in the process of enrolling. The deadline for late enrollment is this week, Monday or Tuesday.

Would seem like with a 4th transfer db’s likely in and ward staying we can now look at tight ends maybe another lb and then just best player available

I’m sure someone we have can move around, but I have a feeling the staff would jump on a legit center with game experience if a new guy hits the portal.
