Wolensky's (CDC) transmission admission destroys all remaining COVID vaccination debate

I'm trying to understand how the OSHA debate taking place in the SCOTUS in a few hours isn't completely shut down by Wolensky's admission from Monday when she said that Covid-19 vaccines are no longer effective at preventing transmission of the virus.
If the vaccine can not prevent transmission then all forced vaccination, in any form, is off the table. And if the transmission part of it is off the table entirely then the ONLY case for vaccination at this point would be to supposedly reduce your symptoms should you contract it. Right?
So if those of us that are unvaccinated (and always will be) don't give a shite about the potential symptoms, and through our own free will choose to deal with the potential ramifications of said symptoms were we to contract it, then how can the vaccinated care any longer about whether or not we get jabbed? They're already protected.
Transmission was the only thing keeping this argument going. That somehow the vaccinated are at risk in the workplace due to this bullshite lie that it's "a pandemic of the unvaccinated", and that we may transmit it because we aren't vaccinated, is completely dead now.
If you've had the jabs then you should be perfectly fine knowing that your symptoms will supposedly be less and you should stop trying to control other people that are willing to put up with the full blown symptoms.
What am I missing here? Why isn't this all over the media? Those that have the shots have it. Let's move on with our lives.

The pharmaceutical industry has lots of money.

It was never about stopping the virus. These evil mother frickers are using this the start the government overreach. If this is allowed, nothing will be out of the realm of possibility.

Both mandate cases were heard last week so technically evidence is closed at the end of the hearing. However, after listening to the oral arguments I am 99% confident the petitioner (Federation of Independent Businesses) will prevail and the DOL for OSHA will lose. They may release the opinion today. 6-3 opinion.
I think the administration in the Biden v. Missouri case arguing for medical worker mandates for all facilities receiving Medicare and Medicaid has a better than 50/50 chance of prevailing. The opinion may also be realsed today. 5-4 opinion, maybe as high as 7-2 with a very slight chance of being unanimous.

Because if you contract it you’ll be contagious longer than otherwise. Public Health issues are largely a numbers game. But I personally don’t GAF if someone is or isn’t vaccinated.

Ummm, what?

Where are you getting that information?

Bc everyone in the same general health/age class has essentially the same reaction to Omicron irregardless of their vaccination status. Saying the vaccine lessens symptoms just sounds like a huge assumption.

He stated that it decreases the period where they are infectious and can transmit the virus.
That was one of the first things the politicians started saying once they realized that their statement of “vaccinated cannot be reinfected” was no longer working.

Imo he is implying the recovery is shorter with the vaccine therefore the contagious period is shorter. I agree there is no data to back that up. There is NO difference between a symptomatic vaccinated or unvaccinated person. Same is true for asymptomatic and that’s why the testing of only unvaccinated asymptomatic is dumb and an absolute waste of time/resources.

And if the recovery is actually shorter, why are both groups quarantining for the same length of time?

Probably from a speech from Avegno or Kanter or POTUS.

It's just a mental leap on his part.
You might as well ask Skeletor or Megatron for actual answers or information. Even if you received info from some sort of authority...it's usually a lie.

Here come the if you aren’t a scientist you cannot discuss or have an opinion in science people. Also all those Supreme Court decision threads can only be discussed by lawyers. Over in the Tiger rant and Saints forum, only start threads or comment if you were a D1 or professional athlete. Not fat or a drunk? Stay off of the Food and Drink board.

Conveniently after Friday's hearing when arguments are supposed to be "closed".

I thought that viral load was less for vaccination, which should mean that the window for being contagious is shorter. Is that line of thinking correct in any way?

Seatbelts are an example of a government requirement for personal health issue that generally doesn’t improve the lives of anyone except the user.
Though a much thinner argument, some would place prostitution and personal drug use in that same boat (I do not agree with that sentiment.)

Then stop helping the other side by making unproven comments like this

People that are not crazy need to stop acting like the crazy ones aren’t dangerous. We are experiencing a moment revealing one side has been right the whole time and it’s not the forced vax people. They have been trying to limit others’ freedom and should not be treated with kid gloves
