Couldn’t get to the woods today so I figured I may as well make peanut butter pies. I make them every year for close friends. Easy to make and taste delicious. The following recipe makes 2 pies, but I’ve increased the ingredients by roughly 1/4 to make the pies deeper.

1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
8oz cream cheese
1/2 can sweetened condensed milk
1 cup powdered sugar
8oz cool whip
2 9 inch pie crusts. I use graham cracker crusts, but Oreo/chocolate crusts are great.
Mix 1st 3 ingredients with mixer until creamy. Add powdered sugar and stir. Stir in cool whip. Pour into pie shells and freeze. I garnish with grated/shaved chocolate or chopped up peanut butter cups.

Can’t make peanut butter pies without first pouring up some aged eggnog.

Gather ingredients

8 poured up

Garnished and ready for the freezer

Thank you. Between work, kids, and other obligations, I don’t get to spend as much time in there as I’d like.

Very glad I saw this. Love peanut butter pies but have never made them before. Hosting a small family dinner at my house this year and I am going to make a couple of these. Figured I would try 1 graham cracker crust and the other oreo.

One question on this. What size can of condensed milk do you split in half?

Thanks

Basically the same recipe that my mom and wife both use. Only difference is that they top it off with more whipped cream. I could eat peanut butter pie until I was sick.

I've been making them for decades. Gotta serve with warm fudge topping and a Reese's broken on top

Depending on the seller, fantasy brown is sometimes labeled quartzite, marble, or dolomite. We’ve had our counters for over six years and there has been no etching, which leads me to believe our counters aren’t marble.

But I should be talking about those pies! Might have to add one to the Christmas menu.

Saw a recipe yesterday where you put a box of Little Debbie Nutty Bars in a blender and blend up and add 1 stick of melted butter and it makes roughly enough for a pie crust. I may have to try out this crust and report back. The oreo crust sounds fantastic.

You obviously have good taste.
Quartzite, marble, dolomite, granite, etc…. No matter what you call it, it’s a great looking stone.

Agreed that it’s a beautiful stone, and the color of your cabinets is perfect! If I have any regrets about our kitchen, it’s the cabinet color. It’s a titch off from being perfect.

Thanks. That was the second go at it. We painted the cabinets when we installed the countertops. Wife didn’t like the color so we repainted again within a month. Expensive lesson, but she’s happy with it now.
