How long before Covid shuts down sports?

NHL will have an empty arena game tonight, and Toronto teams are going to 50%. NFL wants all staffers masked again.
These leagues are trying to drive fans away it seems.

I’m not sure why. Sports went on with packed stadiums through the delta wave which will have been far worse
For example LSU played with a packed house with 3,000 plus covid hospitalizations in LA
We won’t sniff that number this time around

But but but omnicron is much milder, just more easily spread. So WTF are they worried about as this round is even less likely to cause serious illness.

They’re either going to shut down or finally have to admit that testing and cases of perfectly healthy people is an absolutely absurd way to view covid in December 2021. Especially as it’s getting milder and milder.
But the case numbers are going to be too high for them to logistically keep playing as long as their policies still treat covid like it’s fricking cholera instead of what it is, which is a mild cold to a bad flu

The New World Order must keep COVID alive to accomplish various geo political agendas

Seems like Omicron or whatever is affecting the rest of the US the way Delta did in Louisiana
Cases wise, not necessarily as many hospitalizations

Daily Mail said NFL was considering changing up protocols.

It's good to see a little sanity on the left.

With many teams facing labor shortages on the field, the NFL is considering altering league health and safety protocol to allow vaccinated, asymptomatic players to return sooner, according to the Washington Post. Currently, infected players are required to be away from the team for 10 days or pass two COVID-19 screenings taken 24 hours apart.

I can't even fathom how low one's testosterone levels must be to still take COVID seriously in December 2021

Its all theater. But the public is increasingly not attending the show at this point

The only athlete I know who got seriously ill from Covid was Ryquell Armstead. We need to move on with our lives at this point. It’s getting ridiculous.

People keep saying this, but this is a disaster for a certain party if this is still going on then. Mail in ballots won't save them.

They already know they are going to lose badly in the midterms and nothing they can do will stop that. This is about laying the groundwork to get as much done as possible in the next 12 months.

Good luck to them because that isn't happening either

You may be correct. If so, I guess for every 24 month cycle, we might get 6 that are relatively drama free.
