Recommendations on where to stay for a 4 day trip to yellowstone park during the summer.

canyon area is centrally located
even better, move around...we did 2 nites each at mammoth, canyon and Yellowstone lake

Look into Headwaters Lodge its on the border of Yellowstone and the Teton National Park. Really nice.

I like to move around. Yellowstone is bigger than most folks that have never been realize. I usually stay in Mammoth, Old Faithful, and Canyon. Book as soon as possible and if nothing is available when you try to book, keep checking back daily and a few times each day. Rooms open up all the time.
