Maybe, myself I would rather Scrappy. IMO he is the best receiver on the team.

I think Braydon Johnson is vastly underrated. I think he would be an excellent get that would pour his heart and soul into the purple and gold. And you'd likely have him for 4 years.

quote:When they won at Mandeville last year, with Matthews playing QB, I was so impressed with Johnson. Skippers had a good, veteran defense in 2020, and he was IMPOSSIBLE to tackle. LSU needs more kids like him.

I’m hoping they win Saturday

I had never seen a picture of Braden Johnson before just now, but obviously, he's the lunch pail, gym rat kind of player the Rant loves

Johnson's dad is a big ole boy as well. Like 6'2" 240ish, with not a lot of body fat. Dudes stacked.

Johnson looks better at RB than Etienne’s brother
I haven’t seen Ajay Allen yet. But Johnson might be the 3rd best RB in this class. He can really run

Strong comments from Hank Tierney today about Johnson
I’m kind of amazed,” Tierney said. “He’s probably the most under-recruited player ever that I’ve had. When I say ever, I mean that I’ve ever coached. He’s a 4.5 guy at 215 pounds averaging eight yards a carry. I just don’t know what the college coaches are not seeing.”
He really emphasized the word EVER in the interview
