ESPN and SEC Network's promotion of "V-Foundation" says there are "racial disparities in cancer outcomes". Can't even promote a good cause without accusing the disease of racism.

They just have to be trying at this point to lose 70% of the House. Keep it up.

My Dad had thyroid cancer before and after being diagnosed with ALS, one of his brothers had a blood cancer and two of his sisters died of cancer. One was colon cancer and I forget the other. They’re Scottish. So about that racial disparity….?

frick ESPN.

However, this seems to be talking about how there is racial disparities in healthcare not the actual disease? Even then I would argue it's based on folks economic/monetary situation rather than race. Then again could you say that economic situations are based on folks race? Historically, race has effected folks monetary gain and opportunity.

Is cancer racist... no.

Maybe the American cuisine impacts some groups of people in different ways than others.

A black friend's brother is a urologist in L.A. & she & I were discussing my treatment for prostate cancer. She said her brother was frustrated because the death rates for black males with prostate cancer is 3 times the rate for white males. He has done years of research & his findings reflected that a main problem was that black males were "very hesitant to get examined", thus when they finally did see a physician, the cancer was highly developed. He feels that is a problem with all forms of cancer, blacks are more hesitant to get an initial examination, leading to late diagnoses.

I’m a white (1/16 American Indian) and I got testicular cancer twice before the age of 30. I’m so happy I cancelled cable to not hear all of this bullshite.

Black people aren’t as health conscious so of course they will have worse health outcomes.

The actual racism is in the fact that they feel they can’t be honest with blacks.

True, but we HAD made great strides to eliminate that divide since the 1960's, now the liberals are trying to push us back to before that.

There are indeed racial disparities in outcomes.

Mainly because there are racial disparities in inputs.
