He'd be an excellent recruiter but probably not even a big upgrade over Jones in what we have now. Only upgrade over JOnes is his recruiting ability. I don't like Golding's name being floated at all. Bama's defense has progressively regressed under Golding. They're begging us to take him. The positive side is he'll bring excellent recruiting to the staff and help lock Louisiana down. He's from Hammond.

Only thing I know about Hankton is he has got some good recruits out of Louisiana. I don't think we'd have a bad defense under Golding but it would be incredibly average. If there's one hire Kelly needs to homerun it's the DC hire and Golding ain't it. He makes sense and I can see where he's coming from though. I'd just be a little apathetic on that hire. We'll see what he can do if they do make it.
