Wealthy people use mortgages way more than you’d think. Why not get money at a low interest rate when you can invest that money to make more than you’re paying in interest? Plus the mortgage interest is a write off.

"Keep it all in a big safe......" Reminds me of a story about Shaq & his money. He owned / s multiple numbers of car washes throughout Fla., all cash revenue, mostly quarters. His CPA called him up to tell him he couldn't account for $30K. Shaq told him to come by his house, where he showed the CPA 8 large barrels full of quarters . "I like to keep some of my money where I can see it". True story per one of his many biographies.
